Originally we had posted that MathStudio would be coming soon to the Amazon Appstore which would include the Kindle Fire. After reviewing the terms and conditions of the Amazon Appstore more thoroughly we have decided to postpone this decision.

Specifically their distribution terms state that Amazon may change the price of your app and also edit your app’s description without your approval.  For more developer accounts about the Amazon Appstore please see the links below.

The IGDA (International game developers association) also highlights many concerns with the Amazon Appstore’s distribution terms.

We regret this decision as we were looking forward to providing MathStudio for Kindle Fire but until Amazon offers distribution terms in line with other app stores (such as Apple’s App Store and the Android Market) MathStudio will not be available on the Amazon Appstore.
