No virtual standard keyboard on Samsung Galaxy II

    I have android version 2.3.3.
    I can't invoke the standard virtual qwerty keyboard on my Galaxy II.
    What can I do to solve this problem?

    Sorry. The problem is only in the search box in Catalog.

    I also have the Samsung Galaxy SII and I can't search the catalog because the keyboard won't appear. I have to scroll down and choose instead, which isn't the end of the world but searching would be quicker.
